Luis De La Cruz Martinez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Luis De La Cruz Martinez, beloved son, father, and brother, who left this world on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026. Luis was born on a beautiful Saturday, May 12th, 1979, in Dallas, Texas, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends who cherished him dearly.

Luis dedicated his life to his country and his family. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, and he also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), embodying the values of bravery, duty, and service. His strength and commitment left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Luis was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his loving parents, Gerardo and Carolina; his cherished children, son Luis Aiden and daughter Alina, who were the lights of his life; his brother Gerardo and sisters Elvira, Claudia, Carmen, Marissa, and Diana, as well as his nieces and nephews who will forever miss his warmth, humor, and guidance.

Luis's life will be celebrated through memories cherished by all who knew him. He will be laid to rest with the honor he deserves at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate Luis’s life and legacy.

The Martinez family invites everyone to honor Luis's memory by reflecting on the love and joy he brought into the world. Though he has departed from this earth, he lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
