Jose De Jesus Ortega Rangel

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose de Jesus "Chuy" Ortega Rangel, who departed this life and entered eternal rest on June 2, 2026, in Rockwall, Texas, at the age of 90.

Jose de Jesus was born on June 14, 1935, in Rancho Los Arquitos, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a hardworking man, devoted to his family, and known for his strength, kindness, and unconditional love for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, whom he loved deeply and with whom he shared a life filled with cherished memories and blessings.

He is survived by his beloved sons: Manuel, Antonio, Simon, Venancio, Juan Hilario, Felipe, and Silvestre; his cherished daughters Maria Concepcion and Maria del Rosario; his sister Chole; as well as 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor his memory and carry on the family legacy he helped build.

Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his example, teachings, and love will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

His final resting place will be at Royse City Cemetery in Royse City, Texas, where he will be laid to rest and remembered with love, respect, and gratitude.
