Antonio Gandara Contreras was born on January 18, 1935 in Pánuco de Coronado, Durango, México. He entered into rest on march 24, 2023 in Garland, Texas.

Antonio is survived by his wife Hilaria; sons José and Rogelio; daughters Guadalupe, Manuela, Irma and Magdalena; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

His final resting place will be in Panteón Municipal de Pánuco de Coronado in Durango, México.
