Alejandro is survived by his wife Maria Guadalupe; sons Gustavo and Aron; daughters Alejandra, Melissa and Giselle; brothers Armando, Juan, Adrian, Pedro, Eliseo, Ramon and Candelario; sisters Dora, Gela, Maricruz, Zenaida and Carmela; and 9 grandchildren.

His final resting place will be Panteon El Tunal Anexo in El Tunal, Durango Mexico.
