Pilar Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated full service funeral home dedicated to providing funeral services, cremation, transportation, removal and preparation of remains, caskets, urns and grave makers to families at their time of need, as well as on a pre-need basis.

The immigrant population from all parts of the world continues to grow in North Texas and Pilar Funeral Home embraces and is proud to serve families of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.   

At Pilar Funeral Home we realize the importance of not only acknowledging cultural preferences, but also honoring and celebrating cultural customs and traditions. Therefore, our goal is to provide superior funeral services with a deep understanding and appreciation of the cultural diversity in our community.

Staff

Marisol Trevizo, owner and funeral director of Pilar Funeral Home, brings professionalism, commitment to excellence and a passion for providing personal and compassionate service to families. Ms. Trevizo has 8 years of experience in public service and holds a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Spanish, as well as a Masters Degree in Public Administration.

Ms. Trevizo is also a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with a Certificate in Funeral Directing and is fully licensed by the Texas Funeral Service Commission as a Funeral Director in the State of Texas. Ms. Trevizo has experience working in an independently owned and operated funeral home, as well as in a corporate environment.
